Myfinepix Studio

A complete solution especially created to take care of several image related tasks like viewing a set of pictures or organizing them

Viewing and managing the pictures taken with a digital camera are common activities that are made possible by dedicated applications like MyFinePix Studio.

This particular software solution is tailored to accommodate the needs of those who own a FUJI camera and wish to manage their photos in a straightforward manner.

Well organized layout for accessing all the features

Once the software is set in place and deployed, users will meet the friendly interface that hosts a variety of functions, neatly grouped in relevant menus for easy retrieval.

I updated MyFinePix Studio. I have swapped the SD cards on X-T2 (one is indeed empty, but the other one has several hundreds of shots stored). I switched on/off the picture preview on camera. The program continues reporting no pictures found on the connected X-T2 and advices to check the set up of 'global' file types, that I can't find. Fujifilm has updated its MyFinePix Studio image editing software to version 2.0 extending support to 3D images and videos taken with its W1 and W3 3D compact cameras. Click here for information and to download the software. FinePixViewer is a freeware photo viewer software download filed under image viewer software and made available by FUJIFILM for Windows. The review for FinePixViewer has not been completed yet, but it was tested by an editor here on a PC.

The main window contains four modules that are dedicated to acquiring images from a connected camera, memory card or CD, printing the pictures, viewing the photos and editing them, as well as to sharing the files through the dedicated MyFinePix net service.

Smart picture organizer and editor

When it comes to managing an entire image library, MyFinePix Studio is well equipped and it offers a nice wizard that can be really helpful for sorting photos into several albums, so they are more easy to browse and view.

Besides the numerous grouping, sorting and viewing options it comes with, this program also features an image editor that sports some basic functions and a good deal of filters that can be applied to completely modify the selected picture.

Thus, it is possible to adjust automatically or manually the brightness, contrast and gamma levels, rotate the photo or crop a portion of it and also remove the red-eye caused by the camera flash. The effects are quite varied also and at any moment it is possible to revert the changes by using the 'Undo' button.

A decent utility for managing digital images

All in all, MyFinePix Studio seems to provide a good set of features, but unfortunately it will only save pictures in JPG format, which is a major drawback given the great number of common file types that are currently in use.
